Danny provided outstanding service, and the food was absolutely fantastic! One of the highlights for our family was the kids' "make your own pizza" option, where they were able to spread the dough, add the pizza sauce, and sprinkle on the cheese exactly how they wanted. It was such a fun and interactive experience for them. The restaurant is incredibly family-friendly, and both the staff and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their hospitality and attention to detail truly made our visit memorable. Our experience was so enjoyable that our kids had such a great time, they begged us to come back—and we happily returned just two days later. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for FANTASTIC italian food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere for the whole family!

I totally recommend this place! They haven't change the food at all, we always eat the cioppino its one of our favorite dish & we been coming to this place for 23 years since they were on Manhathan Beach. Please don't ever change & keep the same flavor!

Woah, Nelly, here comes a review for you. Three of us, we're starving, staying nearby in a hotel for a dance convention competition and we were at the mercy of Google for a decent dinner. One of the first spots I clicked on with an above four rating was listed as 50 to $100 per meal, no thank you. I saw a 4.7 rating and clicked on that and it had reasonable prices listed so we looked at some menu items and decided hey let's try it. It was Mama D's. As soon as we parked, and they did have parking which was lovely, we walked into a bustling homey mom and pop type restaurant. The only available seating was to sit community style with a lovely mom and her daughter. Everyone was cool with that which made it awesome. Community seating can be so much fun. Our server, Alex, absolutely gorgeous and kind walked over to help us. As we were perusing the menu we asked if there was something that was their best dish. And that was when another kind lady standing with Alex said she'd get us some pink sauce. By far the best food, service and atmosphere I've experienced in recent years. The moment you walk in you are instantly greeted and made to feel welcome. The food was prepared perfectly and the portions were equally perfect. My server, Nirvana was attentive and made sure I was enjoying my meal. 10/10 and I'll absolutely be back!

Absolutely delicious. This was our second time there and both the service and food were wonderful. They had the cioppino as a special and it was very good, not too spicy but enough zing for sure. Generous portions of seafood and the linguine was really good. My wife has the baked lasagna and it was spot on. Mozzarella balls to start and pizooki to finish. Amazing neighborhood place.
